EMAS Easter Study Tour: Argyll, Mull and Iona
13 – 20 April 2017
The 2017 EMAS Easter study tour will examine the archaeology of Argyll and Bute, the island of Mull and the extremely important monastic site on the Island of Iona.
We will be based in Oban, which is situated on Oban Bay and home to one of the oldest single malt distilleries in Scotland. Nearby is Kilmartin Glen, which has one of the most important concentrations of Neolithic and Bronze Age remains in Scotland, while the Eilean Na H-ordaig Dun and the Lochbuie Stone Circle are just two of the many fascinating sites on Mull.
The cost per person is £620 sharing a twin room and £720 in a single room.
